About
I have spent twenty years being the person in the room who makes the thing actually happen.
Most of my career has been agency-side, in the space between what a client says they want and what a team can realistically build. Account leadership, general management, contracts, scope, the hard conversations. Nike, Ford, Subaru, Intel, HP, EA, Target.
I ran ModOp's Portland office as General Manager and watched it go from six people to a hundred and twenty. I recruited the CTO who built the senior engineering team. I wrote the SOWs, negotiated the contracts and sat in the escalations. Before that, media partnership work with Wieden + Kennedy and Google DoubleClick. After that, enterprise SaaS go-to-market at Tivian, closing Netflix and the US Olympic Committee.
What is different now is the tooling. Over the last few years I have gone deep on AI, not as a spectator but as a practitioner, using it daily across research, operations, content, prototyping and analysis. That combination is the whole offer: real business judgment, plus enough hands-on fluency to build a working version rather than describe one.
I am not a developer and I am not a theorist. I am the person who can sit with you, understand the actual constraint, and then go make something.
How I work
- Short engagements first. A week or two, a clear question, something usable at the end.
- I do not replace your staff or your agency. I work alongside them.
- Sell first, build structure later. I would rather solve the real problem than design a system for it.
- Plain language. If I cannot explain the recommendation in a paragraph, it is not ready.
